QC PESO IN REVIEW: 2024
In the past year, the Quezon City Government has attained remarkable achievements that has made a tremendous impact in the course of history of Pres. Manuel L. Quezon’s dream city, now on its 85th year.
The Quezon City Government, under the helm of Mayor Joy
Belmonte, has made great strides in making the city the epitome of transparency,
good, and efficient governance with fiscal success and autonomy.
In support of the mayor’s 14-point agenda, the Quezon City
Public Employment Service Office (QC PESO), led by PESO manager Rogelio L. Reyes, has achieved significant milestones
in 2024, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for employment, skills development,
and livelihood improvement. Here are some of the major accomplishments:
1. Job Placement and Employment Facilitation
- Successful
Job Fairs: QC PESO organized numerous job fairs throughout the year,
connecting thousands of job seekers with local and international
employers. These events were instrumental in addressing unemployment and
underemployment in the city.

Public Employment Service Office Congress, sharing best practices and

Employment Programs: QC PESO facilitated internships and on-the-job
